Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 2026-05-23
CloudEx Inc. ("we", "us", or "the Company") provides a portfolio of smartphone applications and the website at cloud-ex.biz (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy applies to all CloudEx Inc. applications and to this website. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services you consent to the practices described here.
Individual applications may publish supplemental, app-specific notices on their store listings (Google Play / App Store) describing data handling unique to that app. Where such an app-specific notice conflicts with this policy, the app-specific notice governs that application.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Account credentials if you sign in with Google or Apple — limited to the provider-issued unique user ID, email address, and (where you allow it) display name and profile picture. This information is used solely to identify you across your devices, for example to synchronize subscription entitlements.
- Support correspondence when you contact us. The body of the message and any attachments are stored only as long as needed to handle your request.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Subscription / billing tokens issued by Google Play, Apple App Store, or RevenueCat (for applications that include in-app purchases). We use these tokens to verify your entitlement to premium features. We never receive your credit card information.
- Anonymous crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics, when you have not disabled this in the application's settings. Crash reports contain stack traces, device model, OS version, and the application version. They do not contain personally identifiable information or the content of any data you process inside the application.
- Standard web server logs for visitors to our websites: IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamp. Used for abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement, retained for up to 30 days.
1.3 Information we do not collect
- Real-time GPS coordinates or any location data more precise than the country level (unless a specific application explicitly requires it and discloses so on its store listing)
- Your phone number, contacts, calendar, photos, microphone, or camera, unless a specific application asks for an OS permission for a feature you actively use
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA / AAID) — CloudEx applications do not embed third-party advertising SDKs by default
1.4 Permissions our applications request
Each CloudEx application requests only the operating-system permissions it strictly needs for the feature you choose to use, and uses them solely for the purpose described on the store listing and in-app rationale dialog. Permissions are requested at the moment the feature is invoked, not preemptively at first launch. You may decline any permission; the rest of the application continues to function and only the feature requiring that permission is disabled.
2. How we use information
We use the limited information described above only to:
- Operate and maintain the Services
- Verify your subscription or purchase entitlement
- Synchronize your purchase or login state across the devices you sign in on
- Diagnose and fix crashes (when you have opted in)
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with applicable laws
3. Third-party services
Our applications and websites may integrate the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy that governs the data they process.
- Firebase Authentication, Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — sign-in identifiers and anonymous crash data
- Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — used only when you tap "Sign in with Google"
- Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.) — used only when you tap "Sign in with Apple"
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) — subscription state tracking for applications that offer subscriptions; we send the Firebase user ID and receive an entitlement status
- Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — payment processing handled entirely by the platform store
CloudEx applications do not share data with advertising networks because we do not display in-app advertising by default.
4. Data retention
- Account identifiers: retained while your account exists; deleted within 30 days after account deletion.
- Support emails: retained for 12 months after the last reply, then deleted unless required for legal reasons.
- Crash reports: retained for 90 days then deleted.
- Website server logs: retained for up to 30 days.
5. International transfers
The Company is based in Japan. Our application infrastructure, support systems, and analytics providers are located in multiple countries. When you use the Services, the minimal information described above may be processed outside your country of residence under standard contractual safeguards.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (EEA, UK, California, Japan, etc.) you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the limited information we hold about you. You can:
- Sign out of any CloudEx application to disconnect that device from the cross-device account system
- Disable Firebase Crashlytics in each application's settings (where supported)
- Delete your account by following the in-app account-deletion flow (where available) or by contacting us — this purges the Firebase Auth user record and any linked RevenueCat profile.
7. Children's privacy
CloudEx applications are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from such children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete the information promptly.
8. Cookies and website analytics
This website uses minimal cookies for essential functions only (e.g., language preference). We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies on cloud-ex.biz.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL with an updated effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the relevant applications where appropriate.
